Beech Bend's wave pool and lazy river are opening on Thursday, July 22nd at 10:00 a.m. The wait is finally over. It has been a long, hard summer for our crew and we appreaciate your patience. After all the flood damage, recovery efforts, repairing, rebuilding and re-ordering, we are extremely happy to open the wave pool and the "not so lazy" river. Tiki Island is still a few days away from being open---the replacement parts for it were the last ones to come in.
Pictured above are brand new chairs waiting for you! You also see staff members blowing up tubes in the background. Several staff volunteered to stay late and blow up tubes, move chairs and hang life jackets. Life jackets and tubes are complimentary!
Come on in, the water's warm! Tubes come in three sizes---a big single, a small single and a double. The current from the wave pool make the lazy river a very interesting ride. The waves are on for 15 minutes and off for 15 minutes. When the waves are rolling, the river is rocking! There are eight different wave patterns, from mild to wild. Come try them all!
Tiki Island is really taking shape. It is a beautiful structure with lots of tropical theming. We hope to have it open in a few days. The replacement parts for it just arrived on July 13th and the guys are working hard to get it open as soon as possible. Watch our website for updates.
