Construction is well underway at Beech Bend Park. They're taking entertainment to a whole new level in 2012 with "Wild Bill Hiccup's Wild West Show". Your family will love the slap stick comedy and hilarious antics of Wild Bill Hiccup and his gang of bandits. Sheriff Roscoe will have his hands full trying to tame Annie Oaktree, Bad Bart and Daredevil Dan. Did I mention the chicken and coyote? Don't miss this exciting new family show!

Also, we're proud to announce a new Tiki Grill eatery and Hydration Station adjacent to Tiki Island. This new foods area will feature a food court, a unique menu, a self-serve drink station and restrooms. Construction of the site is well underway and will be ready to open in mid-May when Splash Lagoon opens for the 2012 season.

Beech Bend Park announced that they have recently signed a contract for a completed renovation of their Haunted House attraction. The old ride is already being dismantled.  The renovations will include new track, new ride vehicles and new scary surprises.

We are happy to announce TIKI ISLAND and our new IGA ENTERTAINMENT STAGE will be open for 2011.  "Kentucky Calling" will open on the new stage Memorial Day weekend and will feature music from Kentucky singers and songwriters.  Kentucky's got talent from the Everly Brothers to the Judd's and a whole lot more.  Be sure to catch this original production.  There will be a lot of great entertainment on the IGA Stage this summer including Dinky Gowen's Magic Show and many more entertainers to be announced shortly on our website.

Facility improvements are designed to make your family more comfortable while in our park.  We're adding new restrooms, new changing rooms and self-service drink stations.  Of course, we will continue to offer free soft drinks, free parking, free tubes and free sunscreen!

Beech Bend is honored to be named the Publisher’s Pick Park of the Year!  The Park of the Year is a very prestigious award given to one different park in the world every year.  The Park of the Year is a chosen for a variety of reasons.  Due to the disastrous flood waters in May, and because of park owner Dallas Jones’ health complications in February and March, the additions to Splash Lagoon did not open when expected, instead nearly two months later.  It has been rough, as we and our loyal guests know, but now Splash Lagoon is running full force.
