My name is Chris Tilsley and I'm from Flatwoods, KY.  I'm a CPA and the business tax manager for a regional CPA firm in Huntington, WV. I was born and raised in Kentucky, graduating from Raceland High School in 1995 and Campbellsville University in 1999 with a Business Administration degree.  I met my wife, Amanda, in 2002, and we were married in 2003.

I found ACE through the various roller coaster shows on the Discovery Channel and Travel Channel and noticed several of the interviewees were "American Coaster Enthusiasts".  My wife and I joined ACE in 2004 after finding that Coaster Con XXVII was being held at Cedar Point and Geauga Lake.  We have attended 4 of the past 6 Coaster Cons, taking a break last year to have our baby, Nicole, who is almost a year old now, and well on her way to becoming an enthusiast herself.  Our friends and family thought we were crazy for bringing our child to Coaster Con at such a young age, but we knew Acers would understand and encourage us.  I have ridden 113 coasters, my favorites being Thunderhead at Dollywood and Millennium Force at Cedar Point.

I'm involved in the youth ministry at my church.  My main responsibility there is to manage the money we raise each year to send our teenagers to camp and I also run the audio/video equipment and occasionally teach.  I also enjoy playing board games and video games in my spare time.  I've enjoyed the benefits of being a member of ACE for several years now, as well as meeting all of the different people that ACE brings together.  I'm looking forward to serving the Midwest Region and doing what I can to help Paul in all the hard work he puts into our regional activities.
